Gaming Realms has announced a new Slingo licensing agreement with game developer IGT.
Under the licensing agreement, mobile game developer Gaming Realms will create new Slingo-based content based on International Game Technology’s (IGT) slot games, including Da Vinci Diamonds and Cleopatra, CasinoBeats reports.
Slingo titles are unique casino games that combine elements of both bingo and video slots to offer a unique experience. A majority of Slingo games are based on existing slot brands, and the new licensing agreement will see IGT’s most famous brands join Gaming Realms’ portfolio.
Speaking about the agreement, Enrico Drago, the Senior Vice President of IGT PlayDigital, said: “Partnering with Gaming Realms to produce Slingo games represents an exciting opportunity for IGT to extend the reach of some of our top-performing casino brands.
“These iconic IGT brands are widely recognised by land-based and digital players alike, which will assist Gaming Realms with its goal of creating new Slingo players, while reinforcing the power of IGT’s brands in the fast-growing online market.”
Michael Buckley, the Executive Chairman of Gaming Realms, added: “Combining Slingo with IGT’s iconic proprietary gaming brands represents a compelling partnership, as we accelerate expansion across the US and European markets.
“Given the popularity of IGT’s titles, this is a fantastic opportunity for Gaming Realms to introduce its Slingo genre to new audiences and welcome a new generation of Slingo fans.”
The news comes after Gaming Realms was given an interactive gaming manufacturer license by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, allowing the developer to launch its games within the state.
