Yggdrasil has announced the launch of a brand new slot in partnership with developer Jelly.
The brand new video slot is titled Thunder Of Thor, and the game is the first title in the new Valhalla Saga trilogy. It follows Thor as he embarks on an epic Norse adventure in search of wins across barren land.
According to Yggdrasil, the new slot uses a 5×3 layout with 20 paylines, and it has an RTP of 95.9% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over small ones.
The game requires a bet of between £0.20 and £80 per spin, and symbols in the game include Thor, a Viking boat, an axe, a goblet, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols with runic designs. There are also special Scatter and Wild symbols.
Thunder Of Thor comes with several special features. For example, the Mjolnir Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter, and they can appear as Multiplier Wilds only available during the Thunder Of Thor modifier, which can be triggered on any random spin. When the Thunder Of Thor modifier is triggered, Wild symbols with multipliers of either 2x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x or 100x are added to the reels and applied to wins.
There’s also the Scatter symbol. Landing five or more of these symbols triggers the Free Games mode. When this happens, you earn five free games with the triggering Scatter symbols becoming Special Reel Zones that guarantee prizes via the game’s PowerLinks mechanic. If two or more Scatter symbols hit on any of the Special Reel Zones, the Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega prizes can be won.
The Bonus Respin can be triggered on any spin where there are four Scatter symbols in view. The feature will respin the remaining reels to try and land a fifth Scatter symbol and trigger the Free Games mode. Finally, the slot’s Free Games feature can be bought for a total of 60x your wager.

Valhalla Saga: Thunder Of Thor is available now at all Yggdrasil-partnered casino operators. The game is the second release from developer Jelly, coming after the studio launched Savanna Roar.
What’s more, the game is the latest to launch under the YG Masters program, and it comes after the release of several other games, including 5 Clans: The Final Battle by Reflex Gaming, Lady Merlin Lightning Chase by Boomerang and ReelPlay, Serendipity by G Games, and Glory Of Heroes by Dreamtech.
