Pragmatic Play has announced the launch of its final game release of 2021, Crystal Caverns MegaWays.
The brand new casino game whisks players away to a frozen wonderland filled with precious gems, icy pillars, and plenty of wins. It uses a 6×7 layout with up to 200,704 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.46% with high variance, so you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
Symbols in the game include red, blue, purple, green, and pink gems, as well as Wild symbols, Scatter symbols, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
Like most Pragmatic Play slots, Crystal Cove MegaWays comes with a slew of special features, including Wild symbols that appear on the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth reels and substitute for all symbols except Scatter symbols. When Wild symbols land, they expand to fill the reel vertically.
The game also comes with a Tumble mechanic, where winning symbols are paid and removed from the reels. When this happens, new symbols replace them, which can form another win and repeat the above reaction. This continues until no new wins are created, requiring a fresh spin. Whenever a tumble happens in the base game, the multiplier added to the total win increases by one point but resets once all tumbled are finished.
There’s also a Free Spins mode, which is triggered by landing four or more Scatter symbols, triggering between 12 and 20 free spins. The Free Spins mode starts with a 1x Multiplier, which increases with each tumble.
