Over the weekend, developers Stakelogic and Hurricane Games announced the launch of their new slot, Candyways Bonanza 2 MegaWays.
The game is a sequel to the hugely popular Candyways Bonanza MegaWays, and it uses a 6×6 layout with an additional row along the top of the screen. The game has up to 117,649 paylines and an RTP of 95.80% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over small ones.
Candyways Bonanza 2 MegaWays requires a bet of between £0.20 and £20 per spin, and its symbols include Mystery Wild symbols, Wild symbols, Bonus Scatter symbols, Multiplier symbols, as well as star symbols, heart symbols, blue, red, and purple hexagonal symbols, pentagon symbols, diamond symbols, square symbols, triangle symbols, and circle symbols.
The Candyways Bonanza 2 MegaWays slot comes with various special features, including Wild symbols that only appear when the Mystery Wild feature is triggered. The Wild symbol can appear on all reels and replace all symbols but Scatter symbols. Meanwhile, there are Mystery Wild symbols, which appears only on the top row and acts as a standard Wild symbol. It chooses a random symbol and all matching symbols below it turn Wild.
The game has a Cascading mechanic, where winning symbols are removed from the reels and replaced by new symbols. If these new symbols create another winning combination, those symbols are removed, and they trigger another cascade. This continues until no new wins land, requiring a fresh spin.
Bonus Scatter symbols are not removed during Cascades, and once all Cascades have ended, landing four or more Bonus Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode. You can select between three Free Spins modes, including Super Free Spins with 15 spins and Multipliers of between 2x and 30x, Mega Free Spins with 10 spins and Multipliers of between 2x and 50x, and the Insane Free Spins with eight spins and Multipliers of between 2x and 100x. These symbols are not removed from the reels, and landing four or more of them during the feature triggers additional spins.
