Developers Yggdrasil and Bang Bang Games have partnered to release a sequel to the studio’s Super Cash Drop slot.
The brand new video slot, Super Cash Drop Gigablox, uses a 6×4 layout that can be expanded to 6×6, and it has 40 paylines as well as an RTP of 95.50% with high volatility. This means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The game requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include Wild symbols represented by stacks of cash, dollar signs, gold bars, wallets, piggy banks, and the traditional playing card suits too.
The Super Cash Drop Gigablox slot comes with several special features, including Gigablox, where between two and six reels can merge to form a colossal Gigablox reel on any spin. What’s more, on each spin, the size of the reels will vary between 6×4 and 6×6, with size increases featuring more paylines.
There are Wild and gold-coloured locked Wild symbols represented by stacks of cash, both of which substitute for all regular symbols. There’s a chance on every spin that wild symbols are locked symbols land, and if one or more land, the Super Stretch Wild is triggered with all Super Stretch Wild reels locked in place while the remaining reels respin.
Each reel contains a super stack of Wild symbols, and when one or more Wild symbols land, all visible symbols on the same reel are replaced by Wild symbols in a feature known as Super Stretch Wild. If you continue to land new locked Wild symbols, you’ll transform additional reels and trigger respins. The feature continues until all reels are Wild or no further Wild symbols land.
Meanwhile, landing five or more Bonus Scatter symbols trigger the Free Spins mode, where one spin is awarded for each Scatter symbol. During the Free Spins, Super Stretch Wilds are always locked, there are no low-paying symbols, the mode plays out on the 6×6 grid layout, and more spins can be triggered by landing Bonus Scatter symbols.
Stuart McCarthy, the Head of Partner Programs at Yggdrasil, said in a statement: “Super Cash Drop was a fantastic addition to the YG Masters offering and we’re very pleased to work with Bang Bang Games again to enhance it with our hugely popular Gigablox mechanic.
“Our GEMs offering allows for increased engagement through player mechanics and this is yet another example of them being used in an exciting fashion.”
Frank McPolin, the Managing Director at Bang Bang Games, added: “Super Cash Drop Gigablox sees us take one of our most iconic games and add a thrilling mechanic on top, as well as giving players the chance to win up to 7,024x on a single spin.
“With locking wilds, expanding paylines and a lucrative free spins mode, there’s plenty to look forward to in our latest release.”
The release of Super Cash Drop Gigablox follows the launch of the candy-themed Jumbo Jellies, also developed by Bang Bang Games under the YG Masters program.
