Developer Nolimit City has announced the release of their latest video slot, Misery Mining.
The brand new slot is a sequel to Fire In The Hole, and it follows the same enraged dwarf from the game, but he’s older. After years of mining for valuable gemstones, his love for diamonds has been replaced by hooch, and he now spends his days searching for the ultimate beer formula for himself.
The Misery Mining slot uses a 3×3 reel layout that can be expanded up to 7×7. It has up to 823,543 paylines and an RTP of 94.05% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The game requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include the dwarf, rates, bottles of alcohol, compasses, pipes, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols.
The Misery Mining slot comes with several special features, including a collapsing mine. The game starts with a 3×3 grid layout that can be expanded to 7×7 with xBombs. Exploding an xBomb in the centre moves all of the barriers around the grid one step.
When the above happens, a new collapse can be triggered through a winning combination, an xBomb explosion when there’s no win, or if under three Scatter symbols transform into a non-Wild xBomb and trigger an explosion.
Landing three Scatter symbols with one or two Super Scatter symbols triggers the Misery Free Spins with a 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5 grid layout. There are two modes to select from; Mouse and Rat.
In Mouse mode, you earn up to 12 spins and landing two Super Scatter symbols awards two more spins. In Rat mode, you start with three spins and landing Coin Wagons or Super Scatter symbols reset the spin count to three.
During both Free Spins modes, the top row will reveal enhances for each spin, including Coin Wagons, Multipliers, Bombs, Super Scatters, Bags, Chests, Rats, and Dwarves. However, the enhancers can only be activated when a Scatter or Super Scatter lands on the reel below.
Coin Wagons update the cash prize, Multipliers multiply your win by up to 6x, Bombs expand the grid layout, Bags collect all values on corresponding reels, Chess collects all Scatter symbol values, Dwarves stick the lowest-triggering Scatter symbol or a Super Scatter to collect Multipliers, and Rats walk down reels and collect values.
