Developer NoLimit City has announced the release of its latest slot, the post-apocalyptic Karen Maneater.
According to the studio, the brand-new casino game is set in a distant future in which doomsday has come and gone, and all that’s left is a wasteland infested with raccoons, debris, and a “soul-sucking Karen”.
The slot uses a 2x3x3x3x3x3 layout with 486 paylines, and the game has an RTP of 96% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
Karen Maneater requires a bet of between £0.10 and £70 per spin, and symbols in the game include racoon Scatter symbols, a woman with purple hair, a man with a skull mask, a man in an orange breathing mask, a man with a smoking pipe, a man with a white beard, a gun, a radiation detector, a syringe, a glass of beer, and toilet paper.
The Karen Maneater slot comes with several special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for other symbols to make more wins. Wild symbols can land on the last reel and nudge into position to increase the Wild Multiplier by one point.
The game also uses xWays and Infection xWays. xWays symbols can only land on the middle four reels and transform into regular paying symbols of two to four reels in size, increasing the number of paylines. Infectious xWays symbols only land on the first reel and reveal a symbol of two to seven in size, affecting all occurrences of that symbol on the reels.
Raccoon Scatter symbols only land on the middle four reels. When a Scatter lands, all the reels to its right will expand to one extra position while landing up to two Scatter symbols convert the Scatter into an xWays symbol. Landing three to four Scatter symbols triggers the Bonus Meal.
Three Scatter symbols trigger the Value Bonus Meal with seven spins and three Sticky xWays symbols, and four Scatter symbols trigger the Deluxe Bonus Meal with 10 spins and four Sticky xWays symbols.
Scatter symbols leave an xWays symbol that remains on the reels for the rest of the feature. xWays symbols reveal size starts with two but then increases by one for every winning spin to a maximum size of 42.
