Game developer PopOK Gaming has acquired a UK licence from the Gambling Commission.
The studio, which was founded in 2019, has announced its successfully implemented all the technical improvements required by the Gambling Commission and has acquired certification for the UK market.
As a result, PopOK Gaming has launched 18 of its top-performing games with local gambling operators, although it refrained from revealing which.
The games launching across the nation include Yummy, 20 Hot Bar, Sultan’s Tale, Diamond Flash, Lost Treasure, Los Apaches. Operators will also gain access to PopOK Gaming’s popular four-level Progressive Jackpot gamification tool too.
The new licence allows the developer to expand its reach into one of the largest regulated gambling markets, and follows from it launch in the Belarus market late last year.
Karen Gulkanyan, the CEO at PopOK Gaming, said in a statement: “We are extremely happy to enter the UK market and deliver cost-effective PopOK games to the operators in the region.
“Though the market is quite competitive, we have no doubt that this certification obtained will be an incentive for them to move up to the top charts and flourish their business.”
The news comes after fellow developer Leap Gaming also acquired a licence from the Commission, and after Delasports and JeffBet launched in the UK market too.
