Update November 10th, 2022: The Gambling Commission has confirmed that it lifted the suspension on LEBOM Limited on November 8th after the operator immediately took “remedial action”.

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has suspended operator LEBOM Limited for failing to integrate GAMSTOP, the self-exclusion gambling scheme.
Under the Gambling Commission’s current licensing conditions, it’s mandatory for all operators to participate in the GAMSTOP exclusion scheme and refuse customs to customers registered with the service.
LEBOM Limited, which trades as the LEBOM football prediction app, has been immediately suspended from operating until the Commission is satisfied that LEBOM Limited has integrated the scheme.
The regulator has also launched a review of LEBOM’s licence under section 116 of the Gambling Act 2005.
Under its suspension, LEBOM is expected to focus on treating consumers fairly and keep them informed of any developments that may impact them. Customers registered with the app cannot place wagers but will still be able to access their accounts and withdraw funds.
Kay Roberts, the Executive Director of Operations, said in a statement: “GAMSTOP provides a crucial service for people who feel they are suffering gambling harm. It is simply unacceptable for any online operator to fail to integrate with the scheme.”
The suspension comes as the UK Gambling Commission continues its enforcement action, having fined Betfred owner Petfre Limited for social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings.
It also recently fined Betway Limited, Smarkets, LeoVegas, and suspended Bet-at-home.com’s operating licence while also providing licences to developers Swintt, Stakelogic Live, PopOK Gaming, and more.
