A Bethard mobile player has become famous for winning a huge Yggdrasil jackpot.
The Swedish-based player, who has chosen to remain anonymous, won the prize ahead of Christmas by winning SEK 23.2 million, around €22.2 million, on Yggdrasil’s Empire Fortune progressive jackpot slot.
Empire Fortune, which was released back in 2016, is one of Yggdrasil’s only two global progressive jackpot games. It features a jackpot wheel in which players can win various prizes including bonus spins, cash and larger jackpot wins.
The win marks the second time a player has won a Yggdrasil jackpot in recent months. Less than two weeks before this win, another Swedish mobile player won the €7.8 million jackpot on Joker Millions.
Fredrik Elmqvist, the CEO at Yggdrasil, said in a statement: “To see a second jackpot won, less than two weeks after our prior jackpot was awarded, is absolutely mind-blowing.
“This means that a massive €10 million has been won in 13 days and that two very lucky players are going to have the best Christmas ever!”
