NetEnt has announced a brand new online video slot.
The popular slot developer, which is behind games such as Dead Or Alive II and Starburst, announced its latest slot Imperial Riches this week which sees players take a journey to the Far-East in search of jackpot treasure.
Imperial Riches uses a 5×3 reel with 15 paylines and is set in a Chinese Garden. The slot uses NetEnt’s Avalanche where symbols fall into their positions rather than spinning.
The special mechanic is present both during the base game and the Free Falls feature where all symbols excluding the Scatter light up and disappear. New symbols continue to avalanche onto the reels until no more winning symbols are made.
According to NetEnt’s official press release, the Free Falls feature is triggered when players land three Scatter symbols on the reels. If players also manage to collect jewels in the Lucky Pond, they’ll trigger a bonus game where they can unlock a jackpot.

The news comes after NetEnt released new slot Butterfly Staxx 2, a sequel to the developer’s 2017 slot Butterfly Staxx. The new game is packed with special features including its Re-Spin and Butterfly Frenzy, both of which can help players make numerous winning combinations.
Last month, NetEnt also made headlines after releasing its Grand Spinn, a slot which uses a 3×3 layout with one payline. The game includes a Multiplier Wilds and Nudging Reels feature to help players make more wins.
Imperial Riches has already launched and will become available at all NetEnt casino operators within the next few days.
