Yggdrasil has announced the launch of brand new video slot Multifly!
This week, Yggdrasil, which is known for games such as Vikings Go Berserk and Temple Stacks, announced the release of its new frog-themed video slot Multifly which uses a 5×3 layout with 243 paylines and has an RTP of 96.3%.
Multifly! sees players assist a group of frogs as they attempt to catch some flies for dinner. The game includes several tropical-themed symbols including parrots, toucans, several frogs and lizards, as well as a selection of playing card letters and symbols.
The game is packed with several features including a Dropdown feature in which all winning symbols are removed from the reels and extra Wild symbols added. Other features include Reel Multipliers, a Free Spins mode triggered by landing three Scatter symbols, as well as Wild symbols which substitute for most other symbols and increases the Reel Multiplier.
According to Yggdrasil, Multifly! has received considerable praise pre-launch from players. What’s more, the game has already seen a player win a whopping €97,000! However, the game won’t be officially released until March 24th this year.
Yggdrasil’s Head of Publishing Björn Krantz said in a statement: Multifly! is a great example of true teamwork and dedication. Our amazing Games Team had some very ambitious and experimental plans with this game and despite tight deadlines, they produced a game with excellent innovation, quality, and depth.
“The journey to qualify new concepts and ideas within the development cycle is both challenging, exciting and very rewarding for all involved. Multifly! is yet again a clear proof of our firm focus to drive excellence in player experience, and always to have a player first development in mindset.”
He added: “I am very excited to see the response to Multifly! on a global scale.”
Multifly! is Yggdrasil’s latest video slot release and comes after the launch of several other online games including All Star Knockout, Brazil Bomba, Ice And Fire, Temple Stacks Splitz, Avatars: Gateway Guardians, Aldo’s Journey, 9K Yeti, and so many others.
Meanwhile, Yggdrasil has been working on extending its player reach after striking a content agreement with the Betsson Group to launch its complete casino games in Lithuania. What’s more, Yggdrasil was last month granted a license by the Swedish Gambling Association, allowing it to offer its games to operators within the jurisdiction.
