Pragmatic Play has collaborated with Big Time Gaming to release its first MegaWays video slot Great Rhino.
The popular game developer, which is known for slots such as XX, announced this week that it has entered into a partnership with leading developer Big Time Gaming to launch the company’s first MegaWays video slots.
Big Time Gaming and Pragmatic Play will together develop a new version of classic and high-paying video slot Great Rhino but on the groundbreaking MegaWays engine, offering players a new way to play the fan-favourite slot.
The slot was originally released back in May 2018 and is based in the African Savannah. It follows the adventures of a rhino and has become one of Pragmatic Play’s top-performing slots.
Symbols in the original include the rhino, cheetahs, alligators, flamingos, hyenas, and the traditional playing card letters and symbols. The game is packed with fun visuals and unique gameplay mechanics such as the Super Respin feature, multipliers, and a Free Spins mode.
The MegaWays version of the game will include a new Ape symbol, revamped symbols, an enhanced Free Spins mode, the MegaWays tumbling features, and more to help make more winning combinations. There are also more multipliers and other features for bigger wins.
Finally, the new version of the slot will feature varying paylines of up to 200,704. With each spin, the paylines and numbers of symbols on the reels will change to make for unpredictable and exciting gameplay.

No release date for Great Rhino MegaWays has been announced but Pragmatic Play has stated that it will soon be available at all partnered casino operators as another HTML5 video slot, meaning it’ll be compatible with smartphone devices.
