Microgaming has announced the launch of its brand new jackpot slot Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah.
The brand new slot is the latest instalment in the Mega Moolah jackpot slot series and was developed by Triple Edge Studios, creators of successful slots such as Book Of Oz and African Quest, exclusively for Microgaming which recently announced a partnership with Tom Horn Gaming.
Like others in the series, Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah features the highly praised Mega Moolah jackpot which has paid out more than €1.1 billion to date. Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah takes players down the rabbit hole, and the video slot uses a 5×3 layout with 243 paylines. It offers a “magical experience”, according to Microgaming, and is filled with “rich and vibrant artwork, a whimsical soundtrack” and is set in an “enchanted world”.
The jackpot slot is packed with special features including a Wild Hatter Wild symbol which only appears on the second, third, and fourth reels and substitutes for all symbols. The game also includes Rolling Reels gameplay in which winning combinations fall off the reels and are replaced by new symbols which can create a win and repair the Rolling Reels. This feature continues until no more winning combinations are created by new symbols.
What’s more, the Wild symbols are also collected on every spin and once the Rolling Reels feature completes, players are given the chance to trigger the game’s Progressive Wheel feature. The more Wilds, the higher the chance of triggering the feature for a spin on the jackpot wheel. The jackpots on the wheel include the Mega at 1,000,000 coins, Major at 10,000 coins, Minor at 100 coins, and the Mini at 10 coins.
Landing three or more Free Spin symbols triggers the game’s Free Spins mode with eight spins. The free spins can be retriggered for more chances and the mode also includes Wild symbols as well as the Multiplier Trail to boost your winnings with every spin.
