Game developer and provider 1X2 Network has launched its new Bonus Upgrader tool, allowing players to customise their slot and the way they access slot bonuses.
1X2 Network has stated that the Bonus Upgrader is “different” to all other buy bonus features on the market because it allows players to select which of the game’s bonus features they want to access, including free spins, wild symbols, multipliers, and more.
In addition to selecting which special features they want in a video slot, the Bonus Upgrader also allows users to alter the volatility of the slot, changing the size and frequency of the slot’s payout.
As reported by EuropeanGamer, 1X2 Network will implement the Bonus Upgrader in all upcoming slot releases developed by its subsidiaries 1X2 Gaming and Iron Dog Studio. The first game to launch with the Bonus Upgrader will be Rock The Reels MegaWays.
Jason Bradbury, the Head of Business Development and Marketing at 1X2 Network, said in a statement: “Bonus Upgrader forms part of our wider plans to develop slots and bonus features that deliver the best possible player experience and that ultimately give players more control over how the game plays out.
“Bonus Upgrader takes the concept of the buy the bonus feature and, well, upgrades it by allowing players to choose which of the game’s bonuses they wish to access and the level at which they want to play the bonus.”
Bradbury added: “We look forward to debuting Bonus Upgrader and for players to be able to enjoy the elevated and more personalised experience of playing the game that it offers.”
The news comes as 1X2 Network has continually expanded worldwide. The studio launched in Denmark after partnering with casino operator 888 Holdings, and in July managed to secure a license for the Greek gambling market.
