Big Time Gaming has released a groundbreaking new slot titled Lil Devil.
Slot developer Big Time Gaming has described the game as if its popular slots Bonanza and Danger High Voltage “had a baby”. In fact, Lil Devil borrows several mechanics from Danger High Voltage, such as its player-choice system.
The game’s soundtrack features rock band The Cult’s 1987 hit-single Lil Devil, which the game is named after, and is set in a dark, apocalyptic future.
The new game uses a 6×4 layout with 4,096 paylines as well as the debut of the new Heartstopper mode, a token system that builds towards an enhanced Mega Feature that players can select themselves.
As part of the Heartstopper mode, players will collect hearts as they play to unlock a super-volatile mode. Once unlocked, users will be given the choice of selecting one of two free spins features; Enhanced Be My Angel in which the top paying purple heart symbol becomes a Sticky Wild, or the Enhanced Dynamite Lover in which Dynamite Wilds receive a multiplier boost of up to 5x.
Lil Devil will launch exclusively with Paddy Power Betfair on September 12th for two weeks before it’s released to the wider Big Time Gaming operator network. Ahead of the slot’s official launch at Paddy Power, UK Twitch streamer Chipmonk will play the game in his Battle of the Brands event at 7.30 PM on September 11th and share private links with his audience that provides them early access to the game.
Several pre-launch reviews of the slow have already been published and the game has received praise for its new gameplay mechanic, soundtrack and special features.
Speaking to CasinoBeats about his upcoming stream, Chipmonk said: “To be chosen by Big Time Gaming and Paddy Power Betfair is a huge honour. I have been a member and an affiliate for over two years on both sites and love BTG slots. Lil Devil is an incredible game and I can’t wait to share this with everyone.”
Richard Marquis, the Head of Casino and Arcade at Betfair (Now rebranded as Flutter Entertainment), added: “Big Time Gaming slots are hugely popular with our players and we know they’ll love the fast pace od Lil Devil. With The Cult soundtrack and Heartstopper feature, there is nothing ‘lil’ about the entertainment in this game… we’re excited for our players to give it a spin.”
Nik Robinson, the CEO at Big Time Gaming, said in a statement: “We’re delighted by the really positive response Lil Devil has received from reviews prior to launch. As a company, we’re devoted to enhancing player engagement in everything we do and we’re happy our hard work is being recognised not just by reviewers and tier-one operators like Flutter, but most importantly by the players themselves.”
