Blueprint Gaming has experienced its “strongest ever launch in the first week” with its Rick And Morty MegaWays.
The leading game developer, which is known for popular games such as The Goonies and Mighty Griffin MegaWays, announced this week that its recently released Rick And Morty MegaWays slot has become one of the firms most successful video slots yet.
The game, which is inspired by Adult Swim’s animated comedy of the same name, broke records for Blueprint Gaming in the first week regarding the number of times it was played, how many stakes were made, and how many users launched the game.
According to Blueprint Gaming, Rick And Morty MegaWays made the highest single-day figures for the number of plays, an increase of 37% on the previous record set by the firm’s famous The Goonies video slot.
In an interview with SlotBeats, Jo Purvis, the Director of Marketing and Relationships at Blueprint Gaming, said: “The interest around the game before the release was tremendous, and the positive response post-launch has been overwhelming, with operators and players alike enjoying the feature-rich gameplay.

Also in the interview with SlotBeats, Jo Purvis revealed that Blueprint’s next branded game will be based on the 2016 animated adult film Sausage Party which starred Seth Rogan.
The video slot will whisk players away to Shopwell’s supermarket where they help sausage Frank as he discovers the “Great Beyond” and makes wins along the way.
Blueprint’s Rick And Morty MegaWays hasn’t been the only video slot the firm has released this year. Over the last few months, Blueprint Gaming has launched various games including Mighty Griffin MegaWays, Diamond Mine Extra Gold MegaWays, a slot based on the Viz comic, Pirates’ Frenzy, Sweet Success MegaWays, and several more.
What’s more, Blueprint Gaming recently announced the launch of its third-party develop programme initiative which the firm’s hopes will help independent game studios develop and launch their games via Blueprint Gaming.
