Gambling operator BoyleSports has been named the new betting partner of Newcastle United.
The football team announced the news in a post on the official Newcastle United website, revealing that the club had struck an agreement with BoyleSports under which the operator will act as the team’s new UK and Ireland betting partner.
Under the partnership, BoyleSports will launch a range of activations, competitions and experiences for Newcastle United fans that are aged over 18. The operator will also run exclusive promotions and special offers around Newcastle matchdays.
What’s more, BoyleSports-branded betting terminals have been installed across St. James’ Park, allowing fans to access in-stadium BoyleSports betting facilities over the next two seasons.
Mark Kemp, the CEO at BoyleSports, said in a statement: “As we expand in the UK, BoyleSports are delighted to be teaming up with the great team at Newcastle.
“As an official partner for the new season, we look forward to BoyleSports betting being available online, on mobile and at the fantastic St. James’ Park. We wish Newcastle United and their wonderful fans the very best of luck for a successful season.”
Dale Aitchison, the Head of Commercial at Newcastle United, added: “We are very pleased to welcome BoyleSports on board and we look forward to kicking off our partnership as the new season begins.
“BoyleSports has long had an affinity with football and we are pleased to be working together to offer a first-class betting service for supporters on a matchday at St. James’ Park.”
Newcastle United’s announcement comes amid a series of similar agreements between other football clubs and operators. For example, Betway was announced as the first official betting partner of Springboks Rugby and South African (SA) Rugby last week.
Other similar agreements include Reading FC extending its sponsorship with Casumo Casino for a third season despite their initial agreement only covering two, and Betway being announced as the official betting partner of Eintracht Frankfurt FC, a Bundesliga German football club.
