A lucky online casino player has set a new record after landing a gigantic €19,430,723.60 win on the Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah jackpot slot.
The extraordinary win was made by a Belgian player at the online Napoleon Sports & Casino website on April 27th, days after another Belgian player struck a €2,00,000 win on Microgaming’s Sherlock & Moriarty WowPot jackpot on the same website.
The eight-figure win, which will be paid as a lump sum, marks the largest ever jackpot won on Microgaming’s Mega Moolah slots, and it currently holds the record for the largest payout in an online slot, beating the previous record set by the Mega Moolah series.
Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah launched in May 2020 and was designed by Triple Edge Studios exclusively for Microgaming. The slot is based on Alice In Wonderland and sees players follow the White Rabbit in search of wins.
The game has earned praise for its gorgeous animations and visuals, as well as its exciting special features too. According to Microgaming, the slot has paid more than 500,000 wins and over €46 million in prizes across all jackpot tiers.
John Coleman, the CEO at Microgaming, said of the win: “We’re absolootly delighted to see Mega Moolah make history once again with its latest-breaking win, and what an incredible win it is – €19.4 million!
“That’s the largest jackpot payout in an online slot of all time. Congrats to the player, and well done to Napoleon Sports & Casino on their second Mega jackpot win on our network in as many weeks.”
Tim De Borle, the CEO at Napoleon Sports & Casino, added: “This is a historic day for Napoleon Sports & Casino. We are completely over the moon.
“The winner of the Mega Moolah jackpot read about our player winning €2 million+ with the WowPot and pursued his own dreams and luck on the other Microgaming jackpot-giant Mega Moolah. It almost feels like our site has become ‘the home of the jackpot’. This record-breaking jackpot is the absolute highlight of the amazing partnership we have with Microgaming.”
Earlier in April, a 32Red Casino player made headlines after winning a whopping €17,529,047.11 million jackpot on Microgaming’s Book Of Atem: WowPot jackpot after placing a small €0.80 bet on the progressive jackpot slot.
Meanwhile, a PokerStars Casino player has made headlines after winning €8,133,445.23 jackpot on Blueprint Gaming’s Deal Or No Deal MegaWays slot, marking the highest sum paid out by Blueprint’s progressive jackpot.
According to EuropeanGaming, the player triggered the seven-figure sum on April 30th after placing a €0.80 stake on the MegaWays slot. The anonymous customer landed the win after reaching the Wheel King feature of the popular slot.
Jo Purvis, the Director of Key Accounts and Marketing UK at Blueprint Gaming, said in a statement: “Many congratulations to the lucky individual who’s received the biggest ever prize from Jackpot King. This is a truly life-changing sum of money and we couldn’t be happier for the player!
“This latest big win epitomises the beauty of Jackpot King and why it continues to be an integral part of an operator’s online casino offering. The progressive pots that offer huge cash prizes are still hugely important to players worldwide. We’re adding more titles to the Jackpot King library over the coming months and look forward to announcing more big winners in the future.”
The news comes after Blueprint Gaming launched its new Prize Lines slot mechanic with the release of the Fishin’ Frenzy Prize Lines slot, a game designed to appeal to Bingo fans as it requires users to fill the game’s grid with symbols within five spins to achieve wins. The new Prize Lines slot is the latest addition to the hugely popular Fishin’ Frenzy slot franchise.
