Developer Play’n GO has released a chilling new video slot titled Merlin And The Ice Queen Morgana.
The brand new game is based on Arthurian legend. It follows Merlin, who sets out in search of his former apprentice Morgana after she fled Camelot following King Arthur’s coronation, and has taken over a frozen wasteland as the dangerous Ice Queen.
Merlin And The Ice Queen Morgana uses a 5×3 layout with 10 paylines, and it has an RTP of 94.2% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over frequent small ones.
The game requires a bet of between £0.01 and £100, and symbols in the game include Morgana, Merlin himself, a book of spells, a cauldron, a ring, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
Merlin And The Ice Queen Morgana comes with several notable special features. For example, the game has a Scatter Wild symbol that acts as both a Wild symbol and a Scatter. The symbol substitutes for all symbols except Expanding symbols. Meanwhile, landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers the Free Spins mode with 10 spins.
During the feature, a special Expanding symbol is randomly chosen to help you make more wins. The symbol expands if enough Expanding symbols are on the reels to create a winning combination. What’s more, landing three or more Scatter symbols during the feature re-triggers 10 spins.
Finally, landing a fully stacked Morgana on the reels activates a random multiplier of between 2x and 8x. During the Free Spins mode, a fully stacked Morgana symbol can substitute for one special Expanding symbol if not enough of them have landed on the reels.
