Leading game developer Pragmatic Play has announced the release of a brand-new fishing-themed video slot, Big Bass Splash.
The game is the latest addition to the Big Bass series and it sees the return of the original game’s fisherman as he seeks to catch the biggest fish possible as well as any riches that come his way.
Big Bass Splash uses a 5×3 layout with ten paylines, and the slot has an RTP of 96.71% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular ones.
The slot requires a bet of between £0.10 and £250 per spin, and its symbols include a truck, a fishing rod, a dragonfly, a bait box, various fish, and the usual A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.

The Big Bass Splash slot comes with several special features, including Wild symbols that appear on all reels and substitute for all symbols except Scatter symbols. The stack of fish symbol is a Money symbol, and every spin takes a random value that can be won during the Free Spins mode.
You can trigger the slot’s Free Spins mode by landing three or more Scatter symbols, earning up to 20 free spins. In the base game, landing two Scatter symbols without a third can trigger one of two features to bring a third Scatter, including re-spins or a hook to pull a Scatter on-screen.
When triggered, zero to five modifiers will be applied to the feature, including the options for more fish Money symbols, more fisherman symbols, more dynamites, hooks and bazookas, more spins, and the ability to start the feature at a higher level.
During the Free Spins mode, each Wild symbol collects all of the values from Money symbols and all Wild symbols are collected until the end of the feature. Every fourth Wild symbol collected re-triggers the Free Spins mode, awards ten more spins, and the multiplier for Money symbol collection increases to 2x for the second level, 3x for the third level, and 10x for the fourth level. After the fourth level, the feature cannot be re-triggered.
If there are fisherman symbols with no fish on the reels, fish Money symbols can randomly appear on the reels at the end of a spin via the Dynamite Spin feature. Alternatively, a bazooka can appear to change all symbols excluding fisherman symbols into something else.
Finally, there are fish Money symbols but no fisherman, a hook will appear to pull a random reel and bring a fisherman onto the reels, helping you to make more wins.
