Developer Play’n GO has released its latest musical slot, Lordi Reel Monsters.
Over the weekend, the studio released the brand-new casino game based on the Finnish heavy metal band Lordi, who won the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with their hit ‘Hard Rock Hallelujah’.
The Lordi Reel Monsters uses a 7×7 layout with an RTP of 94.2% and high volatility, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
Rather than using paylines, the game functions on a Cluster Pays mechanic, and it requires a bet of between £0.10 and £100 per spin. The game’s symbols are based on the gang’s members Mr Lordi, Amen, Hella, Mana, and Hiisi, and they include various coins.

The Lordi Reel Monsters slot comes with several special features. For example, Wild symbols substitute for all symbols to help you make more winning combinations.
Each winning symbol counts as a charge towards the Monster Charger, which can hold up to two charge levels and 40 charges in total. Landing 15 Chargers activates a Monster, and 40 Chargers activates a Free Spin with a selectable feature.
The Monsters triggered by the Charger include; Mr Lordi, who adds up to eight Wilds to the grid; Hella, who protects up to two symbol types and Wild symbols but destroys all other symbols; Amen, who transforms up to five symbols into different types; Hiisi, who selects a symbol and creates a winning cluster; and Mana, who turns a single symbol type Wild.
