Like most other Pragmatic Play video slots, Aztec Blaze comes with several special features, including Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except Scatter symbols to help make more wins.
The game also has Colossal symbols that can appear randomly after a successful win. There’s a progression system in place with the Colossal symbols, as their size can increase with each re-spin and they can acquire multiplier values too.
When a Colossal symbol appears, the base game turns into a free re-spin mode. The first level starts with Colossal symbols of 2×2 in size, followed by an upgrade to 3×3 and then 4×4. Once you’ve unlocked 4×4 Colossal symbols, subsequent re-spins will have multipliers of 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x applied to all winnings.
