Microgaming has announced a brand new video slot.
The leading software provider, which is continuously releasing new games, announced its latest slot this week, unveiling Jungle Jim And The Lost Sphinx for the first time.
In Microgaming’s announcement, the provider explained that the slot, developed by Stormcraft Studios exclusively for Microgaming, uses a 5×5 layout with 35 paylines and is a sequel to the firm’s 2016 hit slot Jungle Jim El Dorado.
The new game follows the explorer as he searches for treasure in Egypt. The reels are set against a vast Egyptian desert and symbols in the game include Jungle Jim himself, books, vases, gems and more. The slot also features Rolling Reels where winning symbols are blasted away and replaced by new symbols which roll down from the top of the reels.
Jungle Jim And The Lost Sphinx is also packed with special features which alter gameplay and provide players with chances to make bigger wins. For example, the Jungle Jim logo acts as a Wild symbol, substituting for all winning symbols excluding Scatters and Sphinx symbols.
Landing three or more Scatter symbols earns players up to 12 free spins. During the feature, users can also land Sphinx symbols which adds an additional spin and upgrades the slot’s multiplier trail one point, between x2 and x20.
In the base game, if players fail to make a winning combination on a spin, they trigger a second chance re-spin. What’s more, each consecutive win you make will increase the multiplier trail by one point between x2 and x20, giving you a chance to win big both in the Free Spins feature and base game.

News of the game’s release comes after Microgaming announced the release of new slots Long Mu Fortunes and Book Of Oz Lock N Spin, and shortly after the software developer announced content agreements with operators such as BetWarrior.
Microgaming and Stormcraft Studios’ new slot Jungle Jim And The Lost Sphinx is available now at all Microgaming casino operators.
