Microgaming has announced the launch of a brand new slot.
The popular game provider, which is known for games such as Immortal Romance and Highlander, announced its latest slot last week, revealing that the game, titled Rising Royals, was developed by Just For The Win exclusively for Microgaming.
According to Microgaming, the new sot takes place in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles. Using a 5×3 reel with 20 paylines, the game is packed with unique symbols including French royals and the traditional playing card numbers and letters.
What’s more, Rising Royals is also packed with numerous special features. For example, any symbols that create a winning combination (Excluding the playing card letter symbols) will lock on the reels and trigger a re-spin to help make more winning combinations.
The re-spin continues until no more matching symbols land and create winning combinations. Each re-spin fills up the Symbol Upgrade meter on the side of the screen and when full, all locked symbols will be upgraded to the next high-value symbol.
Both the Symbol Lock Re-Spin and Symbol Upgrade special features provide players with a chance to make big winning combinations.

Rising Royals is Microgaming’s latest slot release and comes days after the firm launched Volatile Slot, a game developed by Golden Rock Studios exclusively for the firm. Volatile Slot is a 5×3 game with 10 paylines which provides players with numerous special chances and multiple chances to make explosive wins.
