Microgaming has announced the release of a brand new slot.
The game developer, which is behind popular games such as Thunderstruck II and Mega Moolah, announced that it had partnered with Slingshot Studios for a brand new online slot titled Banana Odyssey.
Slingshot Studios developed the 5×3 and 10 payline slot exclusively for Microgaming under the firms’ partnership. Previously, Slingshot Studios had developed slots Zombie Hoard and Cash Of Kingdoms for the game provider.
The new slot sees players embark on a journey through space to the legendary Banana Planet on a mission to collect the planet’s riches with numerous special features helping them along the way.
Banana Odyssey includes special mechanics including free spins, expanding Wild symbols and respins. It also pays out both ways, giving players a better chance of making winning combinations.
Users can also trigger the game’s respin feature by filling the entire reel with an expanded Wild symbol. When this happens, the expanded Wild symbol remains locked on the reels. Then any further Wild symbols that land on the reels will reward players with additional spins.
Meanwhile, the free spins feature is triggered by landing three Scatter symbols on the second, third and fourth reels. This rewards players with 10 free spins with locked expanding Wild symbols to help users make more winning combinations.
