Microgaming has released a brand new online slot game.
The popular software provider, known for its Thunderstruck II and Immortal Romance slots, announced the release of new slot Book Of Oz Lock ‘N Spin, developed by Triple Edge Studios exclusively for Microgaming.
According to Microgaming’s press release, the new slot is a sequel to the critically acclaimed 2018 slot Book Of Oz. The high-volatility slot uses a 5×3 layout with 10 paylines and “includes all the magic of the original breakout game”.
The slot’s Book symbol acts as the Wild and Scatter, substituting for all symbols and triggering the Free Spins feature when three or more symbols have landed. The symbol can also expand the game’s reels during the Free Spins feature to help make more wins.
Book Of Oz Lock ‘N Spin is packed with special features including the Hyperspins Lock ‘N Spin where players can lock up to four reels and then respin the remaining reels for a chance to land additional winning combinations or trigger the Free Spins feature.
Also, during the Free Spins feature players are offered the new 2nd Chance feature where they can choose to keep their original symbol or reshuffle for a chance to expand the special symbol and earn up to 5,000x their bet.
What’s more, landing three or more Book symbols during the Free Spins will reward you with additional spins for even more chances to land winning combinations.

The release of Book Of Oz Lock ‘N Spin comes just days after the software provider released Tweethearts, an online slot developed by Just For The Win exclusively for Microgaming.
Tweethearts is a 5×3 slot with 17 paylines that follows two nesting birds who have fallen in love. The game is set in a tropical jungle and features colouful symbols as well as numerous special features including the Random Wild, Free Spins and Double Lucky Line features.
