Developer NetEnt has announced the release of its brand new slot, the jungle-themed Silverback Gold.
The brand new game is based on the majestic silverback gorilla and is set in the depths of the jungle, where a range of animals can be found along with plenty of secrets and wins for you to enjoy.
Silverback Gold uses a 5×4 layout with 1,024 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.11% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The game requires a bet of between £0.10 and £100, and its symbols include silverback gorillas, crocodiles, snakes, leopards, birds, gem Scatter symbols, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, 10, and 9 symbols too.
The game comes with a slew of special features, including Wild and Wild Multiplier symbols of 2x and 3x that are represented by the sunset. These Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Scatter symbols, and when a Wild symbol appears during the Free Spins mode, it transforms into a Wild Multiplier to boost your wins. If two or more Wild Multiplier symbols appear, the win is multiplied by the product of their values.
There’s a Silverback Attack feature that can be triggered randomly in both the main game and Free Spins mode. When triggered, six to 20 Silverback symbols are added to the reels. During the Free Spins mode, if the Silverback symbol is upgraded to the Golden Silverback symbol during the feature, six to 20 Golden Silverback symbols are randomly added.
Meanwhile, landing three or more Scatter symbols on the reels triggers the Bonus Game and Free Spins mode, with the Bonus Game played first. The starting number of spins in the Bonus Game is three, and the Scatter symbols that activated the feature are turned into Tokens and given random values of between one and 25 and are locked on the reels. Tokens that fall are also given a random value, become locked, and the respins are reset.
At the start of the game’s Free Spins mode, the total value of the tokens awarded is added to the Collect Meter up to a maximum of 300. Tokens can appear on Silverback symbols, and at the end of each free spin, the values of all tokens on the reels are added to the Collect Meter. When the Meter reaches certain points, the corresponding symbols are upgraded to Silverback symbols and then Golden Silverback symbols. Landing additional Scatter symbols award more spins.
