Gaming giant NetEnt continues to expand into new gambling markets with its betting games now available on the Canadian and Lithuanian regulated markets.
By signing a deal with Americam supplier IGT, the software developer completed its technical integration with provincial lottery operator British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
Consequently, thanks to the IGT Connect integration layer supplied to the BCLC, NetEnt has been able to release a range of world-leading games in Canada for the first time. Its launch on PlayNow.com marks the game provider’s first step into the Canadian iGaming market.
“Launching our games to players in British Columbia is an important milestone for us in our expansion in North America,” said Therese Hillman, Group CEO of NetEnt.
“Entering regulated markets is a vital part of our strategy going forward, especially within the WLA segment. I am sure that our exciting games will be much appreciated by BCLC’s players.”
NetEnt’s has also made its game portfolio available in the Lithuanian online gaming market this week. Its first customer in Lithuania is the established land-based gambling operator TOPsport.
