NetEnt has released a brand new online slot.
The online game provider, known for its slots Gonzo’s Quest and Starburst, today announced the release of a brand new online slot titled Twin Happiness.
NetEnt’s latest slot features a unique Asian-inspired theme with a 5×3 layout and 243 paylines. Two of the reels on the slot are synchronised and linked, displaying the same symbols to help create more winning combinations.
However, these twin reels can be expanded to become triplets, quadruplets or even quintuplet reels to make big winning combinations depending on the symbols present.
What’s more, the online slot is packed with special features including Wild symbols which only appear on the second, third, fourth and fifth reels and substitute for all wins to help you make more winning combinations.
Bryan Upton, the Director of Games at NetEnt, said in a statement: “As our first authentically designed Asian slot, we are really happy with the results. The linked reel mechanics remain the core of this title, but the Asian-style graphics and sounds will appeal to old and new slot fans alike. We’re expecting it to be a go-to game for many players.”
The news comes just days after NetEnt announced that it had acquired software provider Red Tiger Gaming, known for games including Pirates’ Plenty Sunken Treasure and Mystery Reels.
According to reports, NetEnt will pay £200 million now plus a possible additional £23 million in 2022. The transaction is expected to complete within the coming months and help grow NetEnt’s Earnings Per Share next year.
Meanwhile, has been releasing slots including its Grand Spinn and Grand Spinn Superpot slots as well as Butterfly Staxx 2, a sequel to the firm’s 2017 slot Butterfly Staxx, and Imperial Riches slot.
Another popular game recently released by NetEnt includes Dead Or Alive II, a sequel to the firm’s original slot Dead Or Alive.
