Play’n GO has announced the launch of a brand new online slot.
The game provider, which is known for games such as Fire Joker and Tome Of Madness, announced the brand new video slot this week, revealing it to be titled Divine Showdown.
Play’n GO’s new slot combines several powerful figures from various mythologies including Thor the Norse god of thunder, Wukong the Chinese monkey king, Athena the Greek goddess of wisdom and war, and Egyptian god of death Anubis.
The game blends several popular themes into a brand new experience as the mythological figures head to battle with one another while the player attempts to land winning combinations and trigger special features.
Divine Showdown is packed with special features too including a multiplier of between 2x and 10x which can be randomly applied to any spin, allowing you to make big wins. After triggering the Free Spins feature by landing three or more Scatters, players will be asked to select a god to represent them in battle against other gods.
The centre Battle Reel during the Free Spins feature decides the outcome of the action, pushing players into either spinning reels or battling against other gods. If the latter is selected, the god with the most Power Symbols wins the battle. Winning the battle will earn players a free spin with the Power active and a guaranteed multiplier. Losing the battle will cost you a life.
Divine Showdown also includes other special features such as Scatters, Wild substitutions and symbols based on the various mythological gods and the traditional playing card letters and numbers.
Speaking about the slot, Play’n GO CEO Johan Tornqvist said in a statement: “Mythologies are extremely popular in all forms of entertainment but they very rarely crossover with each other in any way.
“We wanted an imaginative concept for this game and, with the scope each mythology brings to the title, it brings a new perspective on a popular genre and adds a great deal of excitement to the gameplay.”
The launch of Divine Showdown comes as Play’n GO wraps up 2019 with its final few video slot releases. Earlier this month the firm launched its Ankh of Anubis which saw players return to Egypt in an alternate timeline where Anubis has ruled over the country for centuries and created a kingdom of technological advancement.
Other releases from Play’n GO include Chronos Joker in which players use the Chronos Joker’s special ability to manipulate time and make wins, and Xmas Magic which allows for players to get into the Christmas spirit.
Over the last few months Play’n GO has also launched several musical slots such as Black Mamba, Demon, Sabaton and more, all based on the bands of the same name.
Also in November, Play’n GO partnered with bingo producer RCT to launch four new bingo titles for the Latin American market. The games Flex Bingo, Hot Bingo, Park Bingo, and SuperBola, all provide different experiences for players and are packed with unique features.
