Developer Pragmatic Play has launched a brand-new video slot in its Snakes & Ladders series.
The brand-new casino game is a sequel to the studio’s Snakes & Ladders Megadice, and the slot is played on a 5×3 grid with ten paylines. The game has an RTP of 96.08% with high volatility, so you’re more likely to make large, infrequent wins over regular small ones.
Snakes & Ladders Snake Eyes requires a bet of between £0.10 and £100 per spin, with symbols that include apes, bananas, snakes, baskets, wild dice and bonus symbols, and the usual A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
Like most other Pragmatic Play video slots, the game comes with a slew of gameplay mechanics, including Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except Bonus symbols. Whenever Wild symbols land, the dice will reveal one, two or three dots that represent a 1x, 2x, or 3x multiplier applied to the total win of that spin.
Landing three or more Bonus symbols triggers the Snakes & Ladders Board Bonus. Depending on the number of Bonus symbols, you’ll earn between 12 and 16 dice rolls. Four or five Bonus symbols offer a chance that one of those symbols will transform into a Snake Bonus that awards an extra two dice rolls.
The Bonus Game is played on a grid of 12×12, and you are represented by the monkey head, which starts on square one. Items are added to the grid randomly in the form of multiplier cash prizes, ladders and snakes, and bananas. During the game, for every roll, two dice give a random result from one to six dots, and the monkey head moves the corresponding number of dots.
There are unique squares with special features, including squares with money awards of between 4x and 100x your bet, multipliers that boost your bet, ladders that allow you to move up the grid, snakes that force you down the grid, bananas that trigger a sequence where random money prizes are added to the grid, and rope charmers that move the monkey to a random position on the grid.
The feature ends when you run out of dice rolls or the final position that offers 1,000x your bet is reached. At the end of the feature, the total amount collected within the feature is awarded.
The Bonus Game has a minimum guaranteed win of 20x your bet. If when rolls are finished the collected amount is under 20x, Rage Mode is triggered, and the monkey head moves to the end of the grid by passing all of the remaining positions and collecting all multipliers and prizes. If the monkey reaches the final position, the feature ends, but you are offered a chance to retrigger it.
