Developer Pragmatic Play has launched its latest video slot, the prehistoric Rock Vegas.
The brand new video slot whisks players away on a captivating journey through dense jungles. The game uses a 5×3 layout with 20 paylines, and it has an RTP of 96.64% with high volatility, which means you’re more likely to land infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
Rock Vegas requires a bet of between £0.20 and £240 per spin, and its symbols include a caveman, a tiger, a reptile, a mammoth, a bonus rock, and the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
The Rock Vegas slot comes with several special features. For example, the Bonus rock symbol appears on all reels naturally or randomly at the end of the spin. Landing three or more Bonus symbols triggers the Mega Hold and Spin feature, which starts when all wins have been paid. After this, all normal symbols fade away, and a new 10×10 reel appears filled with multi-coloured rock symbols that each have a fixed value.
The rock symbols that appear are dependent on how many Bonus symbols you landed to trigger the feature. The feature starts with three Respins, and whenever a winning combination lands, the Respin counter is reset to three. The feature continues until either all positions are filled or the Respins are finished.
If a 2×2 or 3×3 Cluster of rocks lands, the symbols will transform into a large rock with a randomly-assigned Multiplier of between 5x and 500x. After each Respin, there’s a chance for the rock symbols to be added to the screen in random positions with a fire animation.
During the feature, a key collection feature is available via a trail. Whenever enough keys are collected, a chest is opened and awards either random Multipliers, additional keys to unlock more rewards, additional Retriggers, and more. If enough keys are collected to unlock, the Mystery Multiplier is activated, which Multiplies the general Multiplier.
Once the trail has finished, it starts from the beginning with no limits. The Mega Hold and Spin feature can be triggered, and they can be accumulated until there are none left.
