Pragmatic Play has announced the launch of new video slot Golden Beauty.
The popular game provider, which is known for slots such as Great Rhino and Mustang Gold, announced the new game this week, revealing it to be inspired by the Far-East.
According to Pragmatic Play, the slot uses a 4×5 layout with 75 paylines and sees the mystical Empress take players on a tour of the Far-East where riches and rewards can be uncovered.
Symbols in the slot include lotus flowers, hair combs, pots of gold, ruby broaches, and the traditional playing card letters and numbers. Players will also find Wild symbols which substitute for most other symbols and Bonus symbols which can trigger the game’s Free Spins mode.
Landing three or more Bonus symbols will trigger the Free Spins feature and players are awarded a selection of free spins (between 5 and 45 spins) with Wild symbols to help create more winning combinations. Players can re-trigger the Free Spins mode by landing three or more Bonus symbols during the feature.
Golden Beauty also uses a groundbreaking progressive feature in which game numbers increase from 1 to 10 and then starting over at 1. Lotus symbols that land on the reels during the 10th cycle will lock in their position and, after the 10th cycle, will transform into Wilds.
Melissa Summerfield, the Chief Commercial Officer at Pragmatic Play said in a statement: “Golden Beauty is the latest in a long list of beautifully designed slots and added to our portfolio.
“The feedback we’ve received from players has been extremely positive, with many citing the gorgeous graphics and gamifications as a reason for the enjoyable gameplay. We’re thrilled to offer it to operators and we’re sure Golden Beauty is going to be the perfect addition to any suite of games.”
Golden Beauty is the latest video slot from Pragmatic Play to be released this year. Since January, the developer has released a slew of new video slots including the Victorian-themed Mysterious, throwback slot Master Joker, the vintage Super7s slot, underwater based game Release The Kraken, Chinese slot Money Mouse, the fantasy-themed Magic Journey, and American-inspired game Buffalo King.
Meanwhile, Pragmatic Play has been striking deals with casino operators to provide its selection of newly launched live casino games with the firms. Recent partnerships have been made with PlayFortuna, LeoVegas, and SkillOnNet, helping the developer extend its player reach across the world.
Last month, the game provider revealed that it had signed an agreement with Endemol Shine Gaming to develop and launch a video slot based on popular drama show Peaky Blinders. The game will reportedly release later this year but will not be available to players based in the UK.
