Pragmatic Play has announced that it will be launching its own live casino services this year.
The popular game developer announced the news this week, revealing that the firm’s live casino games will be streamed from their newly constructed studio.
Pragmatic Play’s selection of live casino games will include variations of roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker and the firm plans on showcasing them at the upcoming Ice London event from February 5th-7th at stand N8-120.
The game developers, who struck a deal with Portugal’s Estoril Casino last year, have refused to comment on when the live casino games will launch but have teased that they will be hosted by several “highly skilled” dealers and will deliver “superior video quality” through “cutting edge technology”.
Pragmatic Play also claims that their games will feature a UI which has been designed to “provide the most immersive, mobile-first gaming experience.”
The firm, which is based in Malta, is currently well-known for games including Keno, Go! Monkey, Vegas Magic, Baccarat, Great Rhino, 7 Piggies, Roulette, Monkey Madness, The Catfather and many more.
In a statement, Yossi Barzely, the Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “Lifting the lid on our live casino portfolio is a landmark moment for Pragmatic Play as we underline our multi-product strategy. This step is also highly important to capitalise on our ever-growing regulated market presence.

The news comes just as the firm announced its entry into the Swedish market this month through operators such as PokerStars and Svenska Spel.
