The news comes just days after Quickspin officially launched its first video slot of 2020 titled Skulls UP! The game, which is pirate and tropical-themed, offers mobile players a special portrait mode and comes with dozens of special features.
The game, which uses a 5×3 reel with 243 paylines, includes fun and colourful symbols such as three pirates, a monkey, a macaw parrot, and the traditional playing card letters. The game also includes expanding reels in which the slot can expand to a 5×6 layout with 1,944 paylines.
There are also special features such as Flaming Free Spins with up to six free spins and a chance to claim more by landing additional Chest Scatters, Flaming Re-Spins (In which you re-spin until you win), Flaming Skull Wilds and ordinary Skull Wilds.
Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg said in a statement: “We’re really excited to kick-start 2020 with our first release! We’ve got a diverse roadmap planned out for the year, and we’ll continue to push the boundaries with one innovative, high-quality slot per month, with a clear focus on mobile devices.”
He continued: “Skulls UP! is a great testament to our strategy. Making full use of our new portrait mode, it’s a beautiful example of a game that was developed with our ‘portrait first’ approach.”
