Developer Relax Gaming has announced the launch of its latest video slot, the Japanese-themed Neko Night Dream Drop.
The brand-new game is set in the heart of the busy downtown Japanese city and offers a unique take on the classic lucky cat theme, where a cat has invaded a restaurant to catch fish.
Neko Night Dream Drop uses a 5×4 slot layout with 1,024 paylines, and it has an RTP of 93.89% with X volatility.
Symbols in the slot include a woman, an angry statue, a piece of sushi, a bottle, an origami bird, fish wild symbols, gold coin scatter symbols, lucky cat symbols, and the usual A, K, Q, and J card symbols.
The Neko Night Dream Drop slot comes with several special features, including Wild symbols that appear on the game’s second, third, and fourth reels. Wild symbols substitute for all symbols and landing a Wild symbol on the same reel as other Wild symbols will upgrade the existing symbols by increasing their Multiplier by 1x and award the Neko Re-spin feature.
Re-spins continue in the game as long as new Wild symbols continue to land. When multiple Wild symbols form a winning combination, the Wild symbols’ Multiplier values are multiplied together and then applied to the winning combination. Wild symbol Multiplier values are displayed above the reels and reset at the end of each base game round.
Landing three Scatter symbols on a single spin triggers eight free spins. The Neko Re-spin feature is active during the Free Spins mode and Wild symbol Multiplier values do not reset between spins. One additional spin is awarded for every new Scatter symbol that lands.
There’s also the randomly-triggered Jackpot Spin feature, which is played as an additional spin before an ordinary spin. Jackpot Spins only have blank symbols and the Neko Dream Drop symbols, and landing five of the latter will trigger the Dream Drop Bonus.
There are five jackpots you can win in the Dream Drop Bonus; Rapid, Midi, Maxi, Major or Mega. In the Dream Drop Bonus, you can land blank symbols or golden koi Dream Drop symbols. The Dream Drop symbols are collected and contribute toward each reel’s jackpot requirement, and once enough are collected, you win the corresponding jackpot.
Simon Hammon, the CEO of Relax Gaming, said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to unveil Neko Night Dream Drop, which combines the classic lucky cat theme we all know and love with the innovation and excitement synonymous with Relax Gaming’s slots.
