Robbie Williams has revealed that he and Louis Tomlinson have placed hefty wager on whose category will perform better on X Factor.
The show is heating up as the judges have just learnt who they will be monitoring. Williams will be responsible for the groups, with his wife Ayda Field Williams mentoring the over 25s. Simon Cowell will be in charge of the girls, while Tomlinson from One Direction has been paired up with the boys.
“I have got quite a bit of money with Louis Tomlinson, that he thinks that his acts are going to get further than my acts. That’s not going to happen.” said Williams.
The competition isn’t just between the two men. Williams’s wife also want to defeat her husband.
“What the boys don’t know is I am the most competitive member on that panel,” said Field Williams after meeting her group.
“I have said from day one that I want the overs. I will never live it down with my husband if I do worse than him, I’m taking these guys to the championship.”
However, Cowell is the only one that’s not involved in all the drama and is quietly supporting the girls.
“I’d be happy with the girls… you’ve all got a shot here, this is probably the best girls category we’ve had for a long, long time. Let’s make it amazing.”
The 60 hopefuls who went through yesterday night will go on to compete in the Six Chair Challenge, which starts on 29th September.
