Another casino player has won big with Microgaming.
Microgaming has announced that a casino player based in the UK has managed to win huge on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot Mega Moolah.
The user, who has chosen to remain anonymous, won £2,772,916.45 (Around €3,252,353.70 or $3,609,949.99) on the jackpot with Genesis Casino, an online casino operated by Genesis Global Limited.
According to Microgaming’s announcement, the user won the jaw-dropping jackpot on a £6.25 bet back in November and, like all wins made on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, it will be paid out as a lump sum rather than in annuities.
Andrew Clucas, the Chief Operating Officer at Microgaming, said in a statement: “Congratulations to Genesis Casino and the lucky winner on this truly life-changing win. Mega Moolah has once again delivered an amazing payout. Our industry-leading progressive jackpot network has now paid out €1.1 billion and continues to lead the way, offering players thrilling and rewarding gameplay experiences.”
Ariel Reem, the CEO of Genesis Casino, added: “We’re ecstatic for the player on their massive win on the Mega Moolah jackpot! It’s been a thrilling ride, but one lucky player had to strike – congratulations from everyone at Genesis Casino! We look forward to seeing many more winners on our platform.”
The news comes one month after Mega Moolah celebrated its 13th anniversary. The popular game launched back in 2006 and has been responsible for changing the lives of hundreds of casino players.
Microgaming also revealed that its progressive jackpot network has paid out over €121 million across 1.7 million jackpots so far this year. It’s reported that 10 winners took home seven or eight-figure jackpots over the year and around 570 players won €10,000 or more.
As customers continue to make wins on Microgaming games, the slot provider has continued to aid independent studios in developing and releasing new games. This month alone will see the launch of four brand new video slots from developers such as Just For The Win, Pulse 8 Studios, Rabcat, and Foxium.
More recently, Microgaming announced that it has teamed up with independent studio Switch Studios to develop and launch six brand new table games, five of which are Blackjack variations and another based on Baccarat. All six tables games are set to release throughout December and will help enhance Microgaming’s catalogue of casino games.
