Game developer Wazdan has announced the launch of Dwarf Fortune, a brand new video slot in its Hold The Jackpot series.
The new slot whisks players to an underground mine where they must embark on a journey in search of untold riches and gemstones. Your goal is to make your way through the mines to reach greater depths and trigger the Hold the Jackpot bonus.
Dwarf Fortune uses a traditional 5×3 layout with an additional row of symbols along the top of the reels. The game has an RTP of 96.16% with customisable volatility, giving you a chance to adjust how frequently and much the game pays.
The slot requires a bet of between £0.10 and £10,000 per spin, and its symbols include blue, green, purple, and red gemstones of various shapes, a wild symbol, the traditional A, K, Q, J symbols, and Major, Minor, and Mini jackpot symbols.
There are numerous special features in Drawfs Fortune, including Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except Bonus symbols to help create more wins. The game requires you to match five symbols of a kind anywhere on the reels, and Multiplier symbols of between 2x and 7x can land on the top row to boost your total win.
Landing six Bonus symbols of any type trigger the Hold the Jackpot Bonus. The game also has Increasing Value Sticky Cash symbols that stick to the reels for up to nine spins, increasing the chances of activating the Hold the Jackpot Bonus. The value of these symbols increases with each spin.
The Hold the Jackpot Bonus is played on 20 reels, and all Bonus symbols stick to the reels. The Special Bonus symbols only appear on the top row of the reels, while Cash and Increasing Value Cash symbols appear at the bottom.
Three respins are credited at the beginning of the Bonus Game, and each new Bonus symbol that lands reset the number of respins to three. The Bonus Game continues until all respins are finished, or all reels are filled with Bonus symbols.
During the Hold the Jackpot bonus, Cash symbols award prizes ranging between 1x to 10x, 12x or 15x your bet. Increasing Value Cash symbols award prizes ranging between the same above value, and their value increases to infinity with each respin.
Major, Mini, and Minor jackpot symbols can randomly appear during the feature to award the corresponding jackpot. Multiple jackpots of the same type can be won during the Bonus game.
The feature also has Mystery symbols that can transform into other Bonus symbols. The Dwarfs Mystery symbol can only transform into Mini, Minor, and Major jackpot symbols.
When a Collector symbol lands, it’s assigned a random countdown value between one and nine. With each spin, the Collector symbol accumulates all values from Cash and Increasing Value Cash symbols from the reels below until it reaches zero.
When the Bonus Game ends, the prize is paid for the sum of all Bonus symbol values, as well as all jackpot symbols. If you collect all 20 Bonus symbols, the Grand jackpot is credited, which is the maximum prize in the game.

Dwarfs Fortune is the latest slot from Wazdan, and it comes after the launch of several other games, including Sizzling Moon, Power Of Gods: Medusa, and Jelly Reels, all of which use the same Hold the Jackpot mechanic.
