Wazdan has announced the release of its latest video slot Sonic Reels.
The game developer, which is known for its Magic Stars series and Larry The Leprechaun, has launched its latest video slot Sonic Reels which features enhanced visuals and audio.
Sonic Reels is the latest game to be released this year by Wazdan and, according to the developer, features “pumping beats” and offers players a chance to make big wins while enjoying fun music.
The slot, which is retro-inspired, uses a 6×3 layout with 729 paylines and it has an RTP of 96.16%. Symbols in the game are based on the classic fruit machines and include watermelons, pears, oranges, cherries, pineapples, grapes, and the number seven.
Sonic Reels also includes dozens of bonuses and features to make gameplay more exciting, all of which are activated by the game’s pumpkin-speakers which grow to gastronomical sizes to indicate that bonuses have been triggered.
Some of the features include a Wild symbol which substitutes for most symbols, a Scatter symbol which triggers the Free Spins mode of between 10 and 25 free spins, and the Right and Left Speaker Bonuses which are triggered by landing the corresponding speaker symbol.
The Left Speaker Bonus sees reels move one position to the right, triggering new symbols to help create more winning combinations. The Right Speaker Bonus works similarly but reels can move multiple positions to the left.
Wazdan’s Sonic Reels features vibrant colours and a retro atmosphere. It also comes with all Unique Wazdan Features including the ability to change volatility levels, Ultra Fast Mode for faster gameplay, Ultra Lite Mode for portable devices, and Big Screen Mode for a deeper experience.

News of Wazdan’s latest release comes as the developer continues to announce and release new video slots. Over the last few weeks, Wazdan has dropped several new video slots including 9 Tigers, Lucky 9, and Black Horse Deluxe.
These are just three of the nine games Wazdan has planned to release over the first few months of 2020. The other games planned to drop this year include Telly Reels, Choco Reels, Power Of Gods: Egypt, Sic Bo Dragons, and Reel Hero.
