Developers Yggdrasil and 4ThePlayer have partnered for their joint new slot 60 Second Heist.
The brand new game was released over the weekend as part of the YG Masters program. It uses a 5×4 grid layout with 1,024 Ways and an RTP of 96% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
60 Second Heist requires a bet of between £0.20 and £20 per spin, and rather than using Paylines that require you to match symbols along specific lines, the game uses Ways, which forms winning combinations from the first reel onwards.
Symbols in the game include a man in sunglasses, a man wearing a monkey mask, a man in a vest, a man in a pig mask, a bag of gems, bars of gold, stacks of cash, Extra Time and Speed Boosts symbols, and two Wild symbols; a woman drinking a cocktail and another as an FBI agent. The slot also has the traditional A, K, Q, J, and 10 symbols too.
60 Second Heist is a race against the clock. You must continue spinning until you run out of time in the game, but there are numerous features designed to help you. For example, there are Scatter symbols that can land on the first, third or fifth reels of the game and award you an additional 60 seconds of gameplay.
Landing Scatter symbols also increases the game’s Multiplier, and the higher the Multiplier, the faster it increases. In addition, Scatter symbols can add speed boosts or trigger the Turbo Lock Respin, where winning symbols lock on the reels for ten seconds.
The game also comes with two Wild symbols that substitute for all symbols except Scatter symbols, helping you create more wins. If that isn’t enough, you can enable the Bonus Bet to increase your chance of hitting Free Spins at a higher bet.
Stuart McCarthy, the Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, said in a statement: “60 Second Heist offers players something completely different to anything else thanks to the way the free spins bonus is designed and for that reason alone we anticipate that this slot is going to be incredibly well-received.
“There’s been so much innovation around game mechanics and bonus features over the last few years, but we’ve never really seen anyone tackle Free Spins in such an innovative way until now.”
Chris Ash, the Founder and Business Development Director at 4ThePlayer, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce players to 60 Second Heist as it’s without a doubt our most exciting high-octane slot to date.
“This title offers an unrivalled experience, and we truly believe that we’ve created something special with the help of Yggdrasil and their state-of-the-art GATI technology.”
60 Second Heist is the latest video slot to launch from Yggdrasil, and it comes after a slew of other games, including Super Cash Drop Gigablox by Bang Bang Games, Tiki Runner 2 DoubleMax by Bulletproof Games, ReelPlay’s Towering Pays Excalibur, Dead Man’s Fingers by G.Games, Steam Spin by Jade Rabbit Studio, and numerous other titles too.
