Yggdrasil has launched its groundbreaking new jackpot TopUp feature.
The popular online slot developer, which is known for games such as Vikings Go Berserk and Valley Of The Gods, announced this week the launch of its new jackpot feature TopUp which allows casino operators to boost the prize pools of an online jackpot slot.
According to Yggdrasil, the feature adds extra win potential while enhancing user experience. The mechanic is available to all Yggdrasil operator partners who will be able to add funds to all existing jackpot pools to make them more attractive to customers by differentiating themselves from competitors.
The feature will be compatible with all of Yggdrasil’s popular jackpot games which currently include Jackpot Raiders, Holmes And The Stolen Stones, Ozwin’s Jackpot, Doctor Fortuno, Joker Millions, and Empire Fortunes.
Speaking about the feature, Yggdrasil’s Senior Product Strategist Jonas Strandman said: “Our Jackpot TopUp feature offers an innovative way for operators to incentivise players and further differentiate their offerings. In a crowded market, this simple but highly effective solution drives additional revenue for operators while offering lucky players even bigger win potential.”
The news comes several weeks after Yggdrasil announced the launch of its PopWins mechanic in video slots. The mechanic sees winning symbols ‘pop’ and become replaced with two new symbols and expanding reels, giving players more chances of making big wins in the long-term.
Last year, Yggdrasil announced its Splitz feature which features Mystery Symbols that break into several other symbols onto the reels to help make winning combinations. The feature launched with Yggdrasil’s Temple Stacks slot which released in January 2020.
Meanwhile, Yggdrasil continues to develop and release new video slots including PopRocks, Multifly!, Brazil Bomba, Ice And Fire, Temple Stacks Splitz, and more. The company is expected to continue releasing brand new content over the coming months and potentially launch even more mechanics.
As Yggdrasil continues to release new content, the developer has been working hard to acquire new licenses and partner with various gambling companies, including the Swedish Gambling Association. Previous agreements have been made with the Betsson Group, Google Cloud, Flow Gaming, Black Cow, and dozens more.
