Yggdrasil has launched its brand new video slot PopRocks in collaboration with AvatarUX Studios.
The leading game developer, which recently launched its Multifly! video slot, announced the new video slot this week.
PopRock is a video slot developed by AvatarUX Studios under the YG Masters programme. The slot is the debut title in the PopWins series and marks the second release from independent studio AvatarUX Studios.
The slot uses a 5×3 layout with 486 paylines and it has an RTP of 96.8%. Symbols in the game include various colourful gems and rocks as well the traditional playing card letters and numbers.
PopRocks also features the groundbreaking new PopWins mechanic where winning symbols ‘pop’ and are replaced with two new symbols as well as expanding reels, allowing players to make more winning combinations.
Other features in the game include Multipliers starting from 1x which grow with every seven symbols popped but resets when no more wins land. When all reels expand to seven symbols high, players trigger the Unlock Wild where one Wild is awarded in a random place and Multipliers increase by two as opposed to one.

AvatarUX is an up-and-coming studio which aims to create exciting and fun new game experiences. The firm has partnered with Yggdrasil under its YG Master programme and will develop games exclusively for the company while Yggdrasil handles distribution to its partnered gambling operators.
PopRocks is the second video slot from AvatarUX and comes after the successful release of the firm’s Lilith’s Inferno slot from last year. You can expect more slots from AvatarUX and from Yggdrasil’s YG Master programme within the coming months.
