Game developers Yggdrasil, ReelPlay, and Boomerang Games have partnered to release new electrifying slot, Lady Merlin Lightning Chase.
The game follows Lady Merlin as she attempts to conjure the forces of electricity from the air she breathes and turn power into prizes. Lady Merlin Lightning Chase has five reels with 432 paylines, and it has an RTP of 95.7% with medium to high variance, which means you’re given an equal chance to make both big and small wins.
The new Lightning Chase slot requires bets of between £0.25 and £5 per spin, and the symbols in the game include red, yellow, green, blue, and purple potions, as well as the traditional playing card suit symbols, a fiery Lady Merlin symbol, and a symbol of Lady Merlin with an orb.
The Lightning Chase slot comes with several special features. First off, the fiery Lady Merlin slot acts as a Wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols except the Collect.
Meanwhile, the Boom+ feature is triggered by placing a special Boom+ bet. When this happens, Wild symbols substitute for all symbols with increasing multipliers, and the Lady Merlin orb symbol acts as a Scatter. Landing three or more of these Scatter symbols triggers 10 free spins, with each new Scatter or Wild adding another spin.
The game also has a Hold and Respin feature consisting of three initial respins, which is triggered by landing six or more Lightning Coil symbols. When this happens, all Lightning Coils are held in place while all other reels spin. The respin counter is reset to three whenever a new Lightning Coil, Wild or Collect symbol appears.
Finally, the game has special Collect symbols, which forces all Lightning Coil prizes to immediately payout.

The game is the latest addition to Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program from Boomerang Games, and it follows the release of the studio’s Wild Joker Stacks. It also comes after Yggdrasil partnered with G Games for Serendipity and Dreamtech Gaming for Glory Of Heroes.
