Developer Yggdrasil has announced the launch of its latest video slot, MexoMax! MultiMax.
The brand-new slot whisks you away into the depths of an Aztec jungle where hidden riches await.
MexoMax! MultiMax uses a 6×6 grid layout with the Cluster Wins mechanic, and it has an RTP of 94% with high variance, which means you’re more likely to make infrequent large wins over regular small ones.
The slot requires a bet of between £0.20 and £100 per spin, and its symbols include free spins and wild symbols, and chests. There are also red, purple, green, and blue masks, as well as purple, green, red, and blue stone animals.
The MexoMax! MultiMax slot comes with several special features. Since it uses a Cluster Wins mechanic, you’re required to land five or more identical symbols within a cluster formation to make a win.
After making a win, the winning symbols are removed from the reels and new symbols drop down from above as part of the Dropdown mechanic. These new symbols can trigger another win, repeating the Dropdown feature until no new wins are made.
After each Dropdown, a Wild symbol is added to one of the empty spaces and that Reel Multiplier is increased by 1x. The Multiplier continues to grow but is reset between spins.
Landing three or more Free Spins symbols triggers the game’s Free Spins mode, during which Reel Multipliers do not reset. After triggering the Free Spins, you can either accept the number of spins or gamble for more.
Landing a Chest symbol awards extra rewards. In the base game, you can earn between 5x and 100x your bet, between seven and 11 spins or four extra Wild symbols. In the Free Spins mode, you can earn between 5x and 100x your bet, an extra Free Spins, four extra Wild symbols, and a 1x Multiplier.
For an increased price, you can trigger the Golden Bet to land more Free Spins symbols to increase your chance of triggering the Free Spins mode. You can also buy the Free Spins mode for 75x your bet for a random number of Free Spins or 250x your bet for the maximum number of Free Spins.
